Hamish is a born and bred Aucklander and loves living in this City.

He attended school in Auckland’s North Shore. Following school, he studied a Bachelor and Diploma of Commerce at Auckland University. Post graduating, he secured employment as an accountant in one of  “The Big Four” accounting firms.

After two years of crunching numbers, he commenced employment for one of New Zealand’s most prominent banks. For the next thirteen years, Hamish worked in a variety of roles within ASB, mainly in senior business development positions in business and commercial banking. It is here that he obtained both experience and a passion for mortgage based lending.

Ten years ago, Hamish established Total Finance, his own mortgage advisory company. He has recently joined Personalised Mortgages where he brings a mixture of passion for property with knowledge and experience in banking.

Hamish enjoys the interpersonal nature of the job and assisting people in achieving their short and long term goals.
